Getting in the Fat
Mayo on everything. another is cook your veggies in good old bacon fat. and finally, cream cheese, blue cheese, feta cheese, ricotta cheese, parmesan, romano.
i eat dark meat chicken instead of white, always with the skin when baking, broiling or frying. have any of your tried fried chicken? it doesn’t need batter. season the skin, and fry as normal, just use peanut oil. you will think you have died and gone to heaven.
While i was out of town this weekend, I went to Whole Foods Market in Dallas and picked up some flax seed. Flax seed is a super healthy way to get the fat into your diet. I have not tried it yet, but will be adding flax seed into my salads, and anything i can add it too. they are an excellent source of fiber, omega fatty acids, and iron. anyone here use flax seed?
