TO RANDOLPH- RE: I fell off the wagon this weekend.

It’s so funny how the mind works when it comes to carbs, tobacco, alcohol or
other adicting
substances. I know a gal who quit smoking for 7 years, thought she’d have just
one, now it’s
been 12 years still smoking. I think it’s all very close to sugar/carbs. I have
“rewarded”
myself for losing weight in the past with the very thing that causes weight
gain. The brain
is out to get us! My goal is to reward with other “good” things like a massage,
new outfit
etc. We’ll see. It’s been slow going for me I’ve been on since May 14 with 2
“bad” days and
have lost only 11 pounds. I feel really good though and have slept better than I
can remember.
So this and finally hitting the dark end of the stick again have kept me going.
I figure
in less than a year I’ll be at goal weight and seeing as I’ve weighed in the 200
range for
better than 10 years, what is another 6-7 months?
