Doing Something Wrong?
I have been faithfully sticking to program for eight weeks. After three weeks I lost 10.2 pounds. After three more weeks I lost another 1.2 pounds. After two more weeks I actually gained 1.2 pounds. Obviously I am doing something wrong or else my body is rebelling this diet. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I have over a hundred pounds to lose and 10 pounds in 2 months is very disheartening. New Member of the Group…..

I don’t know about you, but I thought I was sticking to the book at
first, wasn’t losing and realised I’d been eating 400g of Acc
vegetables instead of one portion from each group. And, some people
ARE extremely sensitive to sugar added in foods like mayo and
mustard. Sugarfree? Otherwise, I understand how frustrating this is,
I’ve just gained a pound while sticking to the diet, but I think
I’ve been eating too few carbs. Let’s try and stick it out, shall
we? //ingrid

I tried posting this earlier so this may be a repeat.
I started Atkins a few days ago. After reading about it, I realized
that are lots of foods I can eat. I’ve got four children so there
are going to be times I’m tempted, but I really want to lose weight,
so if I see weight loss, I’ll stick to it.
I’ve been taking multivitamins+ others. I’ve either been pregnant or
nursing for 8 years so they’re a staple. I’m in good health; just
weigh too much.
The first day thing went great. The second day I felt strange. My
pulse was racing and I felt strange. The third day seemed worse…
but I had already lost weight! This morning I woke up and was seeing
spots.. so I ate a bagel (that has 58 carbs… now I need some low-
carb beer to cry in!).
Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong? I’ve been following the 20
rules that I found. I eat ever 6 hours and have kept my carbs well
under 20/day. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks!
