Hi Jacki: I’ve had a sweet tooth since childhood. Although the family
health nut for 25 or so years…still needed something sweet after dinner (or
amid
depression). Began Induction June 12 and miraculously w/i 3 days no sweet
cravings. However, through taste-and-reject/accept, I’ve sampled several things
and now keep a couple of favorite flavors of Atkins Advantage bars w/me…just
a bite or two is plenty to provide a sweet taste. Also, melt 4 unsweetened
chocolate square, blend w/whipping cream (2 cups or so), 7 pkgs Splenda (or as
desired) and vanilla to taste and freeze in cupcake foil cups and it works
good as a cool treat sort of like a fudgesicle. I also belong to a couple of
other support groups (different subject matter) and never take it personally if
a
direct request is not responded to…I’ve learned that while there’s lots of
lurkers, most of us have times when we’re more sharing than others based on a
wide variety of factors in one’s life at the moment. I’m just thankful to
have several groups that are a real blessing to me. Kathy in Central CA
