I weighed and measured yesterday! I was up one pound from last week and no
inches lost!! I hate that…..It is so discouraging. Sharon

Weighed in this morning, and I am down 6 lbs.
This was a great first week!
Question: I am a junk food maniac, Shame on me. And I was wondering,
where can I find the Atkins Peanut Butter Cups and other candy.. and
the Atkins Crunchers? I am from Massachusetts.. does anyone from MA
know where I can buy these things?

Woke up this morning, down 3.5 lbs, and that was a restart 1st day. Had out
of town company here all week, didn’t get to eat low carb hardly at all,
just had to moderate what I was eating.
And yes, I am one of those that has to rely on my scale for assistance to
keep me motivated!

I weighed yesterday and down 2 more lbs. That is 18 lbs all together. I

I weighed this morning and I am down another pound!! 154!!! I screwed up in
a few areas this weekend!! I was just hoping not to gain but I lost!! I
have to work hard the first of this week cuz I do plan to eat some ( I am going
to be choosey!) high carb foods on Thursday! I plan on eating my grandmothers
home made noodles foresure! YUMMY!! But other than that I am staying with the

Thanksgiving was great! I did get off track a bit but I did pretty good!
Here is my results this week
weigh 154!!!
I have lost 3 1/2 inches in bust
6 1/2 inches in stomach
2 inches in hips….didn’t measure them in the very beginning
so probably more than that I think I was going for about 6 weeks before
measuring hips
3 inches in upper thigh only did one leg
1/2 inch in my arm
I think I am doing pretty good!!!

WOW Sharon congrats to you!! It seems that you are dong a great job
on your diet!! You started THIS Aug??? I have lost well before on
this diet but I don’t think I did that well!! I am very happy for
you.. I bet you feel great!
Please tell us what activities you are doing! Give everyone a bit of
advise as to how you are doing so well! You didn’t really have a LOT
to loose so doing what you are doing so fast is wonderful! You know
what I mean.. the more you have to loose the more you will loose in
the beginning…

YEAH!! I weighed 151 this morning!! I am 6 lbs away from my goal weight!
Not sure if I will stop at that or try for another 10 lbs after that loss! I
still have quite a bit of middle weight! But so much better than before! I
love it. My father in law ran into us at walmart last nite and kept saying you
are so skinny! I just laughed and said I don’t think I am skinny but much
thinner than before. He said no you are too skinny! I think it is so funny!!
Everyone is asking how I am losing weight and I tell them the atkins diet! I
tell them that I have lost 29 lbs and they can’t believe I hadn’t lost more
than that! I am so excited! I just hope and pray that I can keep on the
program and not gain it back! Sharon

I am back down to my 151! If ya’ll don’t remember I bombed last weekend and
it has taken me a week to lose back down to my lowest weight!! HIP HIP
HOORAY!! Ugh but now I have to worry about Christmas day!! Oh, well at least I
am
29 lbs light than I was on Aug 18th!! Ya’ll have a very Merry Christmas!!
Remember if you mess up over the holidays just get right back on the atkins and
you will do fine! Remember this is a life long plan! One mess up out of your
whole life is not going to be so bad!! YOu guys that can go thru with the
holidays with no cheats!! YOu are an inspiration to all of us!! Good luck

I did good yesterday and today has been good ,,,,we had some family
disturbances yesterday between my daddy and my brother so my nerves helped
me not to eat,,,,,LOL…..and today I got up this morning wanting to make
today work…… I have never been more serious about loosing the weight as
I am now !! I WILL MAKE IT THIS TIME !!

I weigh 149 same as last week. I have a total loss of 31 pounds. I have 6
1/2 inches lost off of my waist….3 1/2 loss off bust……3 inches off each
thigh….and 1 1/2 inches lost off each arm……lets see that is a grand total
of 14 1/2 inches total since beginning of atkins. I started Aug 2003. Sharon

We are at 2 1/2 weeks. Thomas weighed in at 350 today. 50POUNDS in 2 1/2
weeks. We are going by the calories of your basl metabolic rate as to how many
calories you can have, and the weight is blasting off. I’ve lost 20 lbs, have
not been able to ride the bike much. I’m in college and have tons of homework.
We truly believe in this diet.

I weighed myself this morning and I am glad to report that after almost a month
of not losing anything…… I am down 10 more pounds for a total of 60 pounds
gone!

Back from the doc yesterday. My blood work was vastly improved (to
his amazement as well) and my weight was down 22 pounds in 22 days (
on atkins) … *doin the happy dance*

I was getting flustered because I didnt see anything commin off
(even though my husband says he can see it) But alas, the scale cant
lie!!
I am down another 9 pounds in 2 weeks. Not as much as I would like
to see (ok so if I was a genie it would all be gone) But I will take

Hi all, I’m new to the group. I just started Atkins for the first
time. ON Jan 12th I weighed 230lbs, and only 5′10.5″, I began a normal
diet and got down to 216; which is where I was at on 2/3/06 when I
started Atkins. Today 2/5/06 I’m down to 215. My goal is 175-180. I’m
keeping a journal on my 360 home page not only about my weight loss
but also my life in general. One quick question that I haven’t been
able to find the answer to. Are Sausage links OK for breakfeast? The
ones I got where Jimmie Dean with only 1 Carb per serving. Anyway if
anyone has any advise please offer it up.
BTW: I’m exercising 2 times a day 20-30 minutes each time including
Walking on treadmill, weights, crunches (I hate these). any other
suggestions?

Just wondering how the Weigh in works. Do we weigh and email the
weights in or just log them?
Also why is it when I post messages they never seem to get posted and
the one that did get posted took a couple days to show up?
Starting weight was 216 3 weeks ago, last weekend went out of town and
gained 4.5 pounds from Krystal Burgers. Left at 205.5 came back at 210.
