Just Started

Hi everyone. I started induction today. So far it’s not so bad
because I don’t really eat pasta and very little bread, my downfall
is saying goodbye to my sweet tooth LOL. So everyone wish me luck.
What do you all eat on induction? I just had a cheese burger with no
bread or anything, just burger and a slice of cheese. Also are diet
soda’s ok if they have no carbs?

    OK this one is over the top! Shasta has a DIET CHOCOLATE SODA
    sweetened with SPLENDA! I just bought a half case for $1.98 at my
    local box store. Can’t tell you how it tastes yet, I have a can in
    the freezer as I write this.
    Shasta has several other varieties that are sweetened with Splenda
    including a yummy French Vanilla Cola.
    Give them a try!

    I just started this diet and just can not give up my Diet
    Pepsi/Coke. I know from reading the book that I should avoid these
    drinks so I am wondering if anyone faced a similiar problem and what
    did they use as a substitute??

    Everyone is different in how their body responds to caffeine and the
    sweetener that is used in the diet drinks. I have a hard time with caffeine
    withdrawls and find it really hard at times to not drink it. Some days I
    can do really well, other days I can be sick, and one glass of any diet with
    caffeine will do me fine. The caffeine and/or the sweetener used in it can
    stall you or slow you down in your loss.
    Now I have started making Kool-aid with Splenda.....man oh man was that the
    best tip I have ever had in my life! I also take my water and toss it in
    the freezer for a while until I can squeeze the sides of the bottle and make
    it a little slushy. Quite delicious, both my girls (3 & 4 yo) like it that
    way too.

    Hello everyone. I just started the Atkins diet on Monday. I have
    realized that I haven’t been doing it completely right. I just read
    the induction rules online, and realized that I HAVE to cut out
    caffeine, and I am eatting too many vegetables. I brought veggies to
    work as a snack, but no longer. Does anyone have any good snack
    ideas. I am good until lunch, but 3:30 is when I start getting
    pretty hungry. Any suggestion?
