Where is everyone???

Lots of people seem to have disappeared…haven’t heard from
Rosa..hope she is ok…there seems to be only 4 people on here..very
unusual for induction group..especially now that they have started
posting right away..I think people were frustrated by waiting so
long…I know I was..but still am hanging in here..I do belong to
another group that is very active with great recipes…etc

Hi there, I am here also!!! I check in periodically and browse–see whats
goin on. I am officially down 21 pounds for start!!!yea!!! I did buy that
new well deserved pair of shoes—now I am working on the next 10 pounds
so I can get another pair!!!!LOL I made a HUGE mistake today–was running
about town with my kids and decided to eat at a fast food joint, figuring
I had been on this way of eating for so long, I could have just one burger
with bun and a couple of fries……I’m not concerned about losing the
ability to stay on this WOE——-MY BELLY HURTS SOOOO BADLY!!!! I guess I
can’t physically handle all those carbs any more!!! (that will teach me) I
literally feel horrible bbblllaaaccchhh….. heed this warning!!! stick to
the good stuff….good luck and tomorrow is another day!!! courtenay

I tend to get busy with other projects, so don’t have much time to stay
online and read all my email. Some days I am doing good to just be able
    to read it.
We are still in the induction phase and will probably stay here for at
    least another couple of weeks.
Husband didn’t like how the scales we have were reading. We could get
on them four times, sometimes get the same reading, other times, get
four different readings. So yesterday we got another set. Now for him,
there is a difference of 10-11 pounds between the scales. For me, same
reading. I told him that you don’t go by how much you weigh, but by how
clothes fit. He said that he knew that, but it is discouraging to see
what the scales say. He was able to start wearing some pants here last
week that he hasn’t been able to wear since last year. His goal is to
start wearing some pants that are laying on the closet floor. Neither
one of us have been able to wear them in over a year. In fact, when we
moved last year, I was going to give them to Goodwill, he says no, we
will be able to wear them one day and to bring them with. And he talks
    about my packrat ways!!!!!!

    Hi Janet,
I felt absolutely exhausted the first few days. I figured it was
probably that my body was used to using carbs for fuel. It wasn’t getting
any anymore and until the body went into ketosis and started using fat for
fuel, there just wasn’t much for the body to use for energy. I did feel
better after a few days, lots of energy.
