Minimum Carbs?
Thursday, March 18th, 2004Well, I’m in a quandry here. I contacted the Atkins Center by email,
telling them I’d heard on this list that there needed to be a MINIMUM amount
of carbs per day as well as the maximum 20. I told them I had a 2002
edition of the book and it wasn’t in there and was there a more updated
book. I asked for the new information.
This is their reply:
“No there is no other updated book other than the book you are
following. You are allowed up to 20 carbs daily. You can not exceed 20 carbs
and most of those carbs must be in the form of salad vegetables or salad and
other vegetables.
This information can be found under the Rules of Induction and the
Acceptable Foods List.”
So now, for obvious reasons, I am TOTALLY confused! Could the person
who said she had it right there in her book that a MINIMUM number of carbs
must be eaten and gave page numbers, maybe give us some quotes from the book
on exactly what was said? Thank you.
