cottage cheese
I don’t think you can eat cottage cheese until after induction but i am not
totally sure because I don’t like cottage cheese and didn’t really pay much
attention. Sharon

says
no cottage cheese during induction. It is in the note at the bottom of the
page.
In my book it shows cottage cheese listed under the cheese section of the
free foods part in Chapter 8, The Rules of the Induction Diet - This is Your
14-Day Test Drive.

As far as I am aware this type of cheese contains way to many carbs
as it is cheese that has just been made out of fresh milk with
nothing like the Lactose (Milk sugar) removed!
You are supposed to be eating a certain amount of fat to fire up your
body to burn the stored fat eg being olive oil or Veg oil Creme
Fraiche Mayonaise being some of the things you can use to make things.
You need to start reading the packet labels to find out the Carb
content. You will often find that the full fat product has less carb
in than the reduced fat one!
We often eat a full cooked breakfast of Bacon eggs sausage mushrooms
and one tomato sliced.
Another thing people must remember is that when you lose 1lb of
weight- you need to visualize what this 1lb looks like in a block - I
use blocks of Marg as this is not allowed on Atkins - so 1lb to me
would be 2 x 250g marg blocks. I think in terms of blocks gone, and
one day I am going to be able to go to pick my little girl up from
school and look far better than any other mums.
