russell Stover Candies
I am sure this has been asked before but I couldn’t find the answer so I hope
you don’t mind the repetition. I was looking at their new low carb and sugar
free candies - I picked up the chocolate covered caramels. I haven’t been doing
this all that long but made it through the first two weeks with a 7 pound weight
loss - do miss chocolate still. With the new candies it says 21 g
carbohydrates - do I then subtract out the 20 g. sugar alcohol? I am so
confused about this - esp. when i go to purchase chewing gum. If anyone could
explain this I would be so grateful.
thanks

thats is correct, you subract the sugar alcohols, they for most
people undigestable. If you notice a slow in your weight loss you
may want to eat less of them or avoid them all together. Also beware
for some people they act as a laxative.
Also, you can purchase the sugar free Russell Stover candies instead
of the Low Carb labeled one, they are one in the same, I call the
company and confirmed it. The only difference is the price! But
still watch the carb counts on the sugar free, some of them have
higher counts due to contents, like grahm cracker etc…
