Ketosis Question
I am on day 10 and ate some mozarella sticks at Applebees last night. How
bad is that?
Secondly, I thought ketosis was to be measured in the morning (most
concentrated), but I read that you should check it at night. Didn’t know
that. Why is that?

I have a question about ketosis. Can a person be in ketosis, and show a pink
coloration ont he ketone sticks, and not really be in ketosis? Does anything
mimic ketosis? Just wondering how I could be in ketosis and not see a weight
loss.

Hi, I just started induction yesterday. I bought ketosis sticks
andused one yesterday morning. It, of course, was still beige, no
ketosis at all. But after just one day, I used another one this
morning and it was pink. Not dark, but definitely pink (matched
the “trace” color). I was delighted but skeptical, is this possible?
To be in ketosis on the second day of induction?
A side note: I had been pigging out on carbs and did so right up til
the minute I started the diet. Maybe the drastic change caused
ketosis to happen more quickly?
