recipe for gelatin without aspartame
Hunts Snack Pack sugar free has Splenda instead of aspartame … also there
is the option of buying KNOX unflavored gelatin … adding Splenda and
unsweetened Kool-Aid … ( not sugar free Kool-Aid … but get the
unsweetened the one they tell you to add sugar to .)

My husband did just this a few days ago and the results are quite good!!
He used 4 packages of Knox unflavored gelatin, 2 packages of unsweetened
Kool-Aid, and a cup of Splenda. I think I will ask him to use three
packages of Kool-Aid next time; the flavor wasn’t quite as intense as I
would like.

So how much water? Did you follow the directions on the Knox box?
Thanks

Sorry! He used 2 quarts. Maybe next time he’ll use a little less.
Hubby says he did it this way: Put the gelatin, Splenda and Kool-Aid
into a heat-proof 2-quart Pyrex measuring bowl. Bring water to a boil
and pour in about a quart. Stir until the gelatin is completely
dissolved. Add cold water to make 2 quarts. Pour into individual cups
(he used plastic picnic cups) and refrigerate until firm.

I would just follow the regular recipe for the Kool-Aid except substitute
Splenda for the sugar …
