Well I really fell off the wagon today so it looks like I start from
Day 1 all over again. I had a pop and cinamon rolls I hae when I
loose control. too much temptation.
Anyways I think I may be eating too little on a daily basis,
example day:
Breakfast 1 egg omellette with cheese
lunch(4 hrs later) either chicken salad with miracle whip and relish
or tuna salad and a vegetable or the night before leftover(eg 1 small
pork chop and green beans)
some sort of snack after work
Dinner either hamburger, pork chop or chicken and a vegetable.
occasionally the insides of a taco bell taco(no shell)
I figuered calories up and I am only intaking 700 cal aday on
average. I am sure my body is in starvation mode and conserving fat
for food. I suppose I could add an egg in the am but any other ideas?
I am not eating out of boredom or stress and I am eating wether I
need to or not.
Any ideas?
starting all over again

Week 1 went so well with the 10 pound loss, this week 1 pound, that’s
all??? I’m so disappointed. I’m not doing anything different from
last week, I’m sticking to the Rules of Induction to a T. Shouldn’t
I still be losing more than 1 pound this early in the game?

When you refer to cream, do you mean heavy whipping cream or half and half?

Hi jen.
If you dropped ten pounds that quickly, perhaps your body is adjusting
to the dramatic weight loss. I’d imagine that if it worked for you
for the first ten pounds, that it should continue to work. Perhaps
you could post a menu and get some suggestions from others.
Julie
Thanks Julie,
Basically I either do a protein shake in the am or eggs at the most 2x a
week)
Then for lunch it is usually chicken salad wrapped in lettuce or if I’ve had
an egg
breakfast it would be a protein shake. Then maybe cheese as a snack with
celery. I am not much of a dinner eater but the other night I had tacos (no
shells) with a couple pieces of onion and tomato (but not enough tomato to
make a big difference), sour cream and cheese. Other than this it’s pretty
basic.

Yes I’ve had this happen b4… but never 6-8 times in a day. It usually only
happens once…usually in the morning.

you’re all going to kill me, but could someone post the danich
complete with frosting recipe? Also, how does everyone feel about
about all these new products and how much will you incorporate them
into your daily meals? I get the feeling the whole point of this
diet, is really to EAT BETTER. All of these processed foods make me
think of the Fat Free fad. Are they okay or should we not get
carried away. I know during the fat free days I did. Thanks for
everything. Lisa

I am on day 11 of induction and for the past few days my heart beat
will race fast with uneven beats for about 10 seconds every so often,
maybe up to 6-8 times per day. I had my company nurse check my BP and
it is perfect.
Has anyone else had this happen to them?
My nurse and I discussed this and she said it could be because of my
blood sugar being out of wack from the diet. Tonight I’m going to
have my dad check my blood sugar (he’s diabetic) and see how it
registers. I just wanted to check if anyone else experiences this as
blood sugar is adjusting during induction.

Could whoever posted the recipe for the mock danish please post it again. I
missed it because I wasn’t a member of the group yet and I’ve looked at the
archives and can’t find it.
Thanks,
April
