Can you see your loss?

Ok… now granted, I did start out pretty “large”, so maybe that’s why… but, I
can’t “see” my weight loss. I mean, I have a few things that didn’t fit, and I
did wear one of the shirts, accidentally, and it fit better than before. But, I
can’t see the loss in my face or hands like I used to when I would lose weight.
Do you suppose it is because I was so heavy that it’s going to take more for me
to notice? Just wondering… not dwelling on it… Mel

I usually eat Blue cheese dressing on my salads.
I got one recently called Marie’s that has no sugar listed in the ingredients
and Sugars are 0 on the nutritional label. Carbs are also 0.
Can this be correct? I thought this dressing had 2 carbs — is it ok to
count it as 0?
Any thoughts?

Vegetable Question

Hello — I am almost done with 4 weeks of induction. I haven’t done great,
although being very diligent with my food and water intake. I love artichokes
and enjoy having them for lunch with some melted butter. They are 6.9 carbs,
though. Can I count all of these carbs toward my 10 total carbs for veggies
in a day? (meaning I would only have 3.1 carbs of veggies left for the day)
Can you go over 10 carbs for veggies (while still staying at 20 or less)?

Does anyone know how much the membership at curves is?? I’m interested
in joining one, but looked all throughout their website and there’s no
membership fee listed. I’m a struggling university student, so I
can’t spare more than $30/month :) Thanks for your help!

Fat addiction?

Hi everyone,
I’ve been on Induction for the past three weeks and have lost some
weight. I’m not too concerned about the poundage because I’ve
noticed that my pants fit me better so I know it’s working. :) My concern is that I seem to eat more fat than protein. In fact, I’m
worried that I’m getting addicted to fat. I used to HATE mayo…and
now I love putting extra in my egg salad. And the other night when I
was making some “mock” mashed potatoes with cauliflower, I caught
myself eating sour cream straight with a spoon…NEVER used to do
that.
Should I be increasing my protein intake? I think I’m eating more
fat than protein.

I know that I can pretty much eat any meat I want, and that I can
have up to 3 cups of salad and up to 20 carbs but,
To the 3 cups of salad counts for those 20 carbs or is the 20 carbs
in addition to the salad/veggies??

Day 14

Today is day 14 for me. I’ve only lost 4 pounds so far and am a little
disappointed since most lose much more than that in the beginning. I’m going to
try to re-evaluate my foods to see if there’s something keeping me from losing.
I think maybe I’m not eating enough veggies.

this my first post—- how did you do it— i do not cook and am on
the road 85% to 90% of the time–in and out of the airports and
hotel– i have 2 weeks coming up where i will be home and would love
to do this— i have heard great things–and body want to share a
two menu– i need the structure
