It seems to me from what I’ve been reading that if you do this the weight
will come back and quickly??
I am having a hard time figuring this out overall. I was at 170 in Jan and
then in 2 weeks at 156. Haven’t lost since, in fact have gained to 160 (although
I think TOM is controlling that right now). I added a few things in the past
2 weeks but I don’t feel that was unreasonable. If adding 5 carbs now and then
stops weight loss or adds the weight back on so quickly then the hope of
losing to your goal and then “adding back” anything over 20 carbs seems
hopeless.
Maybe if a person’s body is so sensitive to carbs that you can only eat 20 a
day to maintain over the long haul this approach isn’t the right tack to take?
As 20 carbs forever seems to be unrealistic.
Also, my dd (teen) is on this with me and she has the same problem as I do.
145 to start, 2 wks later 136 and now 4 wks later 138. A teen can’t stay at 20
carbs and not be able to make and eat low carb recipes, lc bread, and other lc
stuff once in awhile. This isn’t realistic.
what do you all think?
