Hi, Im new too :-) Question…..
Hi, glad to join this group!
What Im wondering is if you can become somewhat ‘immune’ to the
atkins diet.
When I first tried atkins about 3 years ago, I lost about 40 pounds,
relatively easily. About a year later I gained it all back (by being
lazy and overeating… I know, shame on me). Since then, I have been
on it and off again CONSTANTLY, not having the willpower to stick to
it. Now that I actually DO have the drive to stick to it, and have
been on it for over a month now (induction), I have only lost about 2
pounds (I have only recently started excercising again). Im wondering
if my past yo-yo way of life with the atkins diet has had like a
permanent adverse effect. I’m assuming that it has caused me to have
a high metabolic resistance to weight loss maybe(?). How do I break
this, is the “Fat Fast” the only way to go for me know? Im just
completely frustrated.
