Denise
Oh, Denise, how sad about your mom. My mom fell one time from a ladder
while washing windows, and I’ll never forget the experience. I now am so
careful when I climb(at 66, I’m careful about a lot of things..lol), just
remembering her pain and my feeling of helplessness.
My prayers are with you as you care for your mom, and my thoughts are also
with her. How frightened she must be, having all of these things happening
to her. But how fortunate she is to have you, loving and caring for her.
And making her your priority….good for you!!!
Hugs, as you go through this experience and strength as we all go through
life, supporting and encouraging each other.
Success with your program, and watch the stress level (I know, what a
laugh!). But seriously, that affects our bodies in negative ways, so I send
you a hug of calmness….Barbara in Holland

Please don’t beat yourself up over this. If ya gotta do it, do it.
You’re not weak, or bad. It’s just food. Hopefully you won’t go out
of ketosis, but if you do, then you do. We have the rest of our
lives to work on this. Remember we’re not on a diet. This is our way
of life, and we’re committed to it.
I know that you don’t want to drink your water, but remember that
you need to stay hydrated, especially when you’re sick and achy.
Hope you get plenty of rest, vitamins, and good food–not just empty
carbs. And whatever you decide to do, know that there are like 3000
of us with you, wishing you well–lurkers as well as the vocal ones.
Let us know how it goes.
Best wishes,
S=)
