I’m new here; Poconos, PA
Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has any ideas/suggestions for my
dilemma? Lat autumn I started the Atkins plan. I lost 40 pounds, my
clothes were almost falling off me, and I felt GREAT!!! Then, I
started getting very tired and sick; NOT due to the Atkins plan. It
turned out that I had gotten carbon monoxide poisoning from the
faulty gas heater in the house I rent. I told the idiot I rent from
many months before that I didn’t think the gas unit was working
properly. He did nothing. Anyway, I had to go to the ER and a new
heater has been put in. BUT!!! Here’s my problem! Ever since this
happened to me, I just can’t “get with it.” I’m not asking for
medical advice. I’ve lost my motivation. All I want to do is eat
all the wrong foods, and have gained back a third of the weight I
lost.
Also, I’m very tired now that I’m not doing Atkins. My life is
hectic. My days are very time-consuming. I’m a 49-year-old single
parent and homeschool my special needs daughter. I can’t afford to
buy the Atkins products/meals. I’m trying to find a way to get
motivated again. And I’m trying to find quick, easy, economical
dinners; lo carb, lo fat tasty dinner recipes and desserts.
Any ideas/recipes???
Thanks so much!
