Sushi

I am a HUGE Sushi fan… we do not go out for sushi often [it’s not a
cheap meal] but when we do, we go bonkers… Containing myself to a
reasonable amount is not an issue… but 99% of the sushi and rolls I
TRUELY enjoy are wrapped with white rice!!! UGH! I don’t EVEN wanna
know how many carbs are in one piece. Sushi is so good for you but the
rice is the killer… Any other sushi fans here? Any ideas?

    Awesome! Sounds good to me… [and yes, I love the above mentioned; my
    fave is still the eel… ] If worse comes to worse, I will “save my
    carbs” for my sushi dinner. I’ve handled creams and such ok, so I bet
    the sushi sauce will be ok … it’s not like it’s drenched in it so I
    think I should be ok.
    I never ate the stuff when I was pregnant… but my daughter loves all
    the “weird foods” [weird according to kids]… she loves the Sushi, Thai
    food and she can’t get enough salad and Tomatoes… Needless to say, her
    good eating habits also help me. She prefers tomatoes over french
    fries… and she is only 3 and 1/2 !!!!! I figure if I eat what she
    eats, I’ll be doing good. heh.
    Thanks for the info! I am looking forward to trying the Sashimi…. BTW:
    Miso soup is ok, right? The tofu is low in carbs?
