Hi all!
No one will believe what I did this morning… dun du da… I EXERCISED!!!!
This is one of my pet peves! I HATE exercise! Or at least anything that
may seem like exercise. I love playing softball and doing martial arts, but
when I am doing those things, I am concentrating on other people and things,
not just staring at a TV or listening to the radio.
I am on day 4 of induction. Have had a few cheats. The other evening we
went to dinner at a Mexican place, I chose a Chicken Chili Relleno. It came
with rice & beans which I asked that they not put on the plate, and I asked
for extra guac and extra lettuce. The only bad part was that the chili’s
were wrapped in a thin crape type skin that was probably made out of white
flour. I also had a small slip last night, I was so hot in my house (we are
having a/c installed today) and ice water & tea weren’t cutting it. I broke
down & had a popcicle (my hubby lives off of these in the summers) - I did
chose the one that had the fewer carbs, but non the less, still had one.
The scale says that I have lost 5 pounds in the last 4 days, but I started
Atkins just before TOM, so I’m not sure if all of the weight is really from
eating under 20 carbs a day.
