Coffee & Lattes

Friday, November 24th, 2006

I am starting induction tomorrow and I really don’t want to give up
my lattes. I could manage decaf but I want to know what I could use
for the milk to cut back on the carbs. Can I use heavy cream or 1/2
& 1/2 to change the latte to a breve???
Thanks,
Linda

Wondering how often to work out

Thursday, November 23rd, 2006

? It depends on the results you want! Is your
goal to exercise for good health? To improve your appearance? To look great in
a swimsuit? Use the following guidelines to reach your target:
To be healthy and lose one pound a week, do 30 minutes of aerobic exercise
three times a week.
To look great in your clothes and to lose two pounds a week, do 30 minutes of
aerobic exercise four times a week, plus two 15-minute muscle-toning workouts
with weights.
To be in perfect bikini shape, do 30-45 minutes of aerobic exercise five days
a week, plus three 30-minute muscle-toning workouts with weights.
You’re just jealous because the voices only talk to me.

Help! I think I blew my diet. I had some chipotle mayo today at a mexican

Kristin,
I went to this site and it looks wonderful - but now I have a question for
you. I have several home recipes that I eat how to I find the information about
the nutrion, calorie content. Is there a website for entering ingredients
and it determing that information for you.
I would appreciate any help.
Thanks
Robin

Wheat Thins ~ some adaptions :)

I actually use a similiar recipe for “crackers” on my son’s diet.. (he does
the SCD diet) which is just about the same as this recipe w/out the
splenda…
Anyway… we do all kinds of additions to it… but I think to stay within
Atkins protocol the only one off the top of my head would be to
Add Cinnamon for almost a graham crackery taste
I don’t know when or if ever some fruit is appropriate later in Atkins
(since I can’t get past induction!)
But we also have done this with a splash of Orange juice for flavor etc…

Any low carb Bread recipes??

Wednesday, November 22nd, 2006

Hi there,
I am new to this post. One question, does anyone have any low carb
bread recipes?? Ones that taste okay?? I found one in one of my
low carbing books and it is just awful. I cannot stand the taste
anymore. I think one more bite and I will die!! I would really
appreciate it. Thanks in advance!!
