		<description>I'm totally going to splurge!!!
Heather:
I hope you enjoy, but I also hope that you will be prepared for the
"side effects" of too many carbs. My husband, whose stats are
244/190/180 had some low carb beer and a small piece of blueberry pie
about six weeks ago when we had friends over for dinner. He was up all
night. For me, splurging now means I might have an extra piece of
low-carb candy once in a while. When I get tempted, which doesn't
happen too often now, I tell myself, "nothing tastes as good as fitting
into these pants feels". I've been working on re-framing my thinking,
that I'm not depriving myself, but that certain foods aren't for me,
more like an allergy. I've been doing this since July. It was very
hard at first and for the last six weeks has become much easier. Stick
with it, it works.
We're having roast turkey, cauliflower made like mashed potatoes, low
carb stuffing and low-carb gravy, and low-carb maple pecan pie.
Oh, and BTW, someone told me lots of water can help with the "rebound"
after too many carbs. I'm not sure if that's true.
