Oh my stars? First you should be aware that eating that few calories, you
are most likely cannibalizing your muscle stores to survive. I think the
minimum Dr. A recommends is 900 calories, and that's ONLY in extreme
circumstances
when one is metabolically resistent to weight loss, and is using the fat fast
for a few days.
Second, what you are doing is NOT Induction, it's starvation. Some of the
weight you have lost this way will most likely return once you start eating
normally again.
My recommendation to you is to get the book, DANDR, Dr. Atkins New Diet
Revolution, and read it RIGHT away. Start introducing real foods back into your
system and try doing something healthy for yourself.
You can get the basics from the www.atkins.com website:
Atkins Nutritionals: How to Do Atkins: Phase I: Induction: Acceptable Foods
http://atkins.com/Archive/2001/12/15-464579.html
Eat your meat, eggs, and veggies and get your body back to running in a more
healthy manner so that you aren't losing your muscle mass. Be sure to eat
enough fat and drink plenty of water.
I sincerely hope you don't intend to try to survive on 300 calories a day for
much longer, especially at your age and height. Please be VERY careful.
What does your doctor think of this regime?
Please keep us posted as we are VERY concerned about your well being.
