vienna sausages

Please someone help me out with this! Are vienna sausages allowed? The
label says 0 carbs , 14g of fat, sugars -0g…….but it says it has
conrsyrup???
isn’t that sugar? I don’t know , I hate labels. Help!! Sharon

Okay so today is day 5 and I got on the scale this morning and I
have lost 5 pounds! I am very happy with that. Wouldn’t it be nice
if I could lose a pound every day! :))..I know that’s not how it
happens but I am happy with the initial loss. Now to breakfast!

Oh boy, did I just find a hidden treasure! Flaxseed Meal, Whole
Ground…..YUM!
I put 1/2 cup in a bowl, a tbsp. of butter, Davinci’s SF Pancake Syrup,
a touch of both vanilla and almond extracts — nuked it for 1 minute
and had this hot cereal. Kinda like a thick porridge or thick cream of
wheat. Delicious!!! I think I am going to incorporate this as my
breakfast meal.
200 cals
16 gr. Carbs
16 gr. Fiber

meatloaf recipe

I don’t know if anyone has already posted this, but this is the
meatloaf recipe from Low Carb and Lovin It on TV Food Network. We
make it ALL the time and LOVE it. I usually make 2 at a time and we
have leftovers for a few days. Then I make extra of the “low carb
ketchup” that you put on top, and keep it in an old ketchup bottle in
the fridge.
1 lb ground beef
2 eggs
1/2 c. grated parmesan
1/2 t dried basil
1/2 t dried oregano
pinch salt
pinch pepper
1/4 t minced garlic
1/4 c. diced red pepper
4 thin slices proschuitto
6 thin slices provalone
Mix everything but the proschuitto and provalone in a bowl and make
sure it’s well combined. Pat flat on a piece of waxed paper in a
flat strip as wide as your meatloaf pan and approx 1/2 inch thick.
lay out layers of proschuitto and provalone on the flattened meat
mixture. Roll it up and put it in the meatloaf pan. Cover in
homemade ketchup (2 sm cans tomato sauce, 1 sm can tomato paste, 1/4
c. splenda, 1T vinegar) (I usually use 1/2 batch of ketchup per
meatloaf).
Bake at 350 for about 50 minutes.

Atkins Planner 2005

I wanted to give anyone with a Price Chopper grocery near by a heads
up. Mine had the “A Year of Atkins” 2005 planners on clearance for
$4 today. They were originally almost $16. It is a weekly planner,
has places to keep track of your carbs and has lots of recipes,
exercise tips and diet tips. I’m going to run over tomorrow and see
if they have any left, I didn’t think to grab extras. I’ll post if I
get a hold of any more if anyone is interested.

Hey guys and gals,
Now that I am obsessed with doing Atkins to a T, I wanna get to the gym
and get this weight off as fast (and healthy) as possible. What is a
good regimen of exercise? I am thinking daily - 30 to 40 minutes per.
What should be the optimal frequency and length of time, daily or every
other day or ??? I joined and go to Curves for Women, circuit training.
Any help/comments on this is greatly appreciated!

Starting “phase 2″ of my great plan!

Hi All. Well, I lost 70 lbs on Atkins last year, but after 6 months
on induction, decided to take a “break” for a while. So, now I’ve
begun “phase 2″ to lose the other 50 lbs I’d like to lose. I’m on
day 4 and so far so good! I actually managed to go 6 months cheat
free last year, but not sure I have the will power to do that
again!!! It’s good to be back and if anyone has IM I’d love to chat
anytime!! I met a few great friends on here last year who were KEY
to my success when I was ready to break!!
