Oh well… I’ll have to find a fridge some place and start bringing my
surely does not work for a lo-carber…. I am trying to figure out how
to work this once I start my rounds…. I at chicken today… hich wasnt
too bad… but once I bit into it… it has some sauce stuff on it…
Boo hoo.. I have been doing so well… and I think this messed me up
lunch/dinner/breakfast… Of course… now that I am in the medical
field I get all sorts of opinions on the atkins diet. I have yet to find
one doc or nurse who likes this WOE… I try to explain it to them and
yet,…. the just dont get it… and trust me… arguing with seasoned
docs and nrses is a no win situation.. LOL… so usually just keep my

The sight of light snow approaching on radar motivated to go walk yesterday
Dayhiker
evening. After walking around our small woods long enough to bore the dogs
I slipped off across the fields behind the woods and walked all the way over
to the next road–about a mile. Then walked back to the next woods and
around the edge of that to our woods. It has been a muddy mess for a long
time and it was wonderful to have solid footing. When they harvested the
corn this year they did it in such a way that I have an almost straight path
through the connecting fields to the next road! We have 2-3 inches of fresh
falling snow this morning and I hope to get out this afternoon between
church. One of my favorite things is to hike in fresh falling snow!!

Nichole,
Try leaving a copy of DANDR in the nurse’s lounge. Once they start to
notice your progress, perhaps they will get curious? The best argument is a
good
example, don’t you agree?
Keep up the good work. You can do this!
Happy Low Carbing!

We had this discussion on another Atkins board I post on…Most people who
are opposed to Atkins already have their set opinion of this plan…and it
really is not worth arguing with them about it…sort of have to have an “I
agree to disagree” attitude about it…because no matter what you say they
probably will not budge on their opinions. Everyone really just needs to respect
every other individual’s preferences when it comes to eating plans…but we
all know that is unlikely to occur .
