I’m still in induction …so wraps might have to wait. Oh, yes …another
question. I’m starting to collect recipes, and some of them call for
tomatoes …but are otherwise tempting. I’m allergic to tomatoes, and
detest them. What can I use as a substitute? I used to use condensed soups
and/or cheese …but I know the soup option is out, so …help?
Shoshana, wondering if low carb tortillas taste good.
I guess it all depends on the recipe. If you are looking for an alternative
to tomato sauce, you could always puree another vegetable that you like or
use beef or chicken broth.
If it’s tomato used as a vegetable in a recipe, then just replace it with
some other veggie, perhaps a zucchini or a squash.
Like I said, it all depends on the recipe. If you have a specific one you
are trying to find a sub for, post the recipe and maybe we can find something
suitable for you?

Usually, my problems are either tomatoes sauce or paste. Like the broth
idea! Of course, there are a very few things that changing would ruin, but
barbecue sauce doesn’t play a large part in my life normally, and none at
all, now, LOL! I may be taking you up on that offer, BTW …thanks!
