February Challenge

We used to do this some time back…
since I have seen so many c”goal” posts… let’s see who the biggest
looser can be for the month of February; or atleast reach a set goal
weight!?
As for me? I am setting mine at 10 lbs by months end :) Nichole

OK, I’m jumping in too! My goal is to lose more in February than I did in
January! I lost a total of 7 pounds in Jaunuary - (3 1/2 of them twice!).
I didn’t cheat, but had problems with my thyroid. I had originally set a
goal of 15 pounds by March 12 in total … and if I make this challenge,
    then it is a very do-able thing!! (I’m fighting a set-point that I have
been at for almost 2 years … wish me luck!;-)
    Thanks for the motivation!

    Thanks for the info, Denise!
Vitamins always made me nauseous until I found the ones I am currently
taking — Nature’s Plus Critical Keto-Nutrients (for Low Carb Diets). They
include 143% DV of selenium. Every night, I do a daily report of my
nutrients on FitDay, and then adjust my vitamin intake accordingly before I
go to bed. I take time-release T3 every 12 hours exactly (I have a beeper),
and measure my body temp 3-5 times a day in order to regulate my dosage.
It’s somewhat of a pain, but it has changed my life drastically for the
    better.
YUM!! I love naked fajitas!! I went out and added to my low-carb cookbook
collection the other day, and it has motivated me to start experimenting
with food again. If anyone is looking, ANY of Dana Carpender’s books are
FABULOUS … simple, and VERY flavorful. 99.99% of the time you can serve
it to guest, and they would never know they are eating low carb (I do it all
the time!). I like that she doesn’t use fake foods and mixes (although she
does use Splenda in desserts). (I have 4 of her cookbooks, and no, I’m not
related! ;-) I sure hope that you feel better soon! Sounds like you are doing everything
right … in a day or two you should be back as good as new! (Isn’t it
amazing how a few bites of the wrong food can mess us up — not just by
ketosis, but how we feel for the next few days?!! No wonder we, as a
society, are always sick with something!! It’s a wonder that our bodies
have held up as well as they have, isn’t it??)
Well, time to spend time with DH - he’s leaving on business at 3AM and I
won’t see him for over a week. Have a good night!!
