John, Brocoli rabe is ok in induction but reg brocoli is not ok
according to the Atkins website. It has 3 carbs per cup. I also think
it may have a high level in the glycemic index. It is a veg that can
cause you to be gassy wich may contribute to your feeling bloated.
Denise,
Broccoli is perfectly fine for Induction. Dr. Atkins included it with the
“Other Vegetables” that you can have up to 1 cup per day.
I’m not sure where you got the information that it wasn’t acceptable, but it
IS on the Acceptable Foods for Induction list on the Atkins Website.
