Good luck to all you out there who are making the choice to “take a
carb break.” I hope that it goes well.
Shari, I didn’t realize that you’ve been stuck that long. I’ve been
stuck for 10 days before. I’ve lost about 3 pounds a week ON
AVERAGE, but it just seems to come in bursts. I’ve been at 215.2 now
for a couple of days…
I have to be honest, and say that I too am wanting to cheat a little-
-it’s not overwhelming yet. How unfair it seems to me to have
Valentine’s day 6 weeks after New Year’s Resolutions… LOL It’s
like we set up our celebrations to purposely sabotage ourselves.
Seems like I get stuck everytime I try to “get fancy” with my food
and cooking. As long as I stick to meat, fish, poultry, eggs, and
cheese with my simple lettuce, tomato, cuke, and radish salad I do
fine–though my weight loss still comes in stops and starts.
Instead of cheating, maybe I need to throw my scale away? I mean, if
this is really what I’m doing for the rest of my life, does it
really matter what I weigh in at on any given morning??? Nah, I want
to know too badly! *wish I could throw the blankety blank thing out
though…*
Anyway, hurry back will ya?
