% fat and %protein????

I’m a little lost, I keep reading that people need to add more
fat… For optimum weight loss, what percentage of your daily intake
should be fat and protein? How do I know if I have the right
amounts? (I’m using fitday so I can see approximate percentages but
I’m just not sure where it should be…)
Thanks for helping with all my newbie questions, you guys are so

    5% carbs
    65% or more (the more, the better)
    Balance in protein (30% or less)
